Sugar Plum Bakery is an entrepreneurial model where in supported employees work along with managers and others creating an integrated work setting.
Sugar Plum Bakery job coaches collaborate with DARS counselors to offer Individual Supported Employment Services. A single employee is placed in an integrated work setting in the community. The employee is employed by the employer. On-going follow- along services are required. Individual Supported Employment is the most widely used Supported Employment model. Advantages are flexibility and maximum integration.
