Baker
Sugar Plum Bakery is a unique nonprofit organization baking a difference since 1987. We are seeking bakers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be professional and adaptable and have a desire to bake large volumes of cakes, butter cream, donuts, pies, cookies, pastries, bars, specialty desserts and bread. Candidates must be able to lift 50#. This position requires shifts Tuesday through Saturday from 4 am to 12 pm.
The ideal candidates must have strong time management and organizational skills. You will be responsible for the daily production of all baked goods. It is important to be able to follow recipes and maintain high standards for flavor and quality. You must be team oriented and collaborate effectively with staff members. It is important to be a self-starter with the ability to work alone and as a team. It is important to uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
