Virginia Beach Bakery: Fresh Signature Breads

Sugar Plum Bakery has a new line of Signature Breads!  Be sure to stop by while at the beach and pick up some of these delicious breads that our professional bakers have come up with!  They will satisfy the bread lover in you!

Olive: Made with Kalamata olives, honey, rye and bread flour. A light olive flavor makes this a great sandwich bread.

Italian: a simple classic made with unbleached, unbromated flour, perfect for making garlic bread or cheese bread

Spaghetti Bread: This bread is loaded with flavors of Sundried Tomatoes, garlic, onion and basil. Staff says this one makes a fabulous garlic bread.

English Toast Bread: Suggested by one of our Sugar Plum Staffers, if you love English muffins then you’ll love the texture and taste of this bread. Great toasted in the morning; makes a great sandwich for lunch. Very popular at The PLUM.

Onion Cheese Bread: This bread is becoming our best seller with good reason. We use unbleached, unbromated four, egg yolks, onion, and sharp cheddar cheese. This bread light and full of flavor, great all by itself

6 Grain Bread: This is hardy bread made with oats, wheat, rye, millet, corn, an barley. We add oats on top for an added toasty nutty flavor. This ones great with peanut butter and honey or sprouts, tomatoes and Havarti.

Rye: Made with our own sour rye starter, unbleached, unbromated flour and rye flour and Caraway seeds. A nice balanced flavor makes this one a winner for any sandwich.

Marble Rye: The best of both worlds twisted together makes this rye and pumpernickel bread a winner.

Pumpernickel: Made with rye flour, rye flakes, and unbleached, unbromated four and molasses.

Sauerkraut Rye: We start with our rye bread recipe and add sauerkraut for a little kick. This is another good choose for a sandwich bread with flavor.

Challah: Our Challah is beautifully braided egg bread. Makes a fantastic French Toast.

Monkey Bread: Sweet caramel pull apart bread with walnuts, great heated for breakfast, serves about 6.

Cheese Pull Apart: We cut up our Italian bread into little pieces, add sharp cheddar and bake to perfection. The cheese melts into all the nooks and grannies. A great snacking bread for sure.

Jalapeño Cheese Pull Apart: Our wonderful cheese pull apart bread heated up with the addition of sliced jalapeños.
